My first thought was "Innertubes".

I find it better to order before each round or just get them from the guy at the track, so I can choose different compounds.
The last minute panic to get a tire mounted before a race just adds to the fun!

I run Michelin. They decided to get away from specific temperature and abrasiveness level compounds. What manufacturer do you run? im guessing Pirelli or Dunlop?
I also receive a hefty discount for buying up front.

I run Pirellis, mainly because there’s always a Pirelli guy at the events I go to . The fronts work pretty well for a wide range of temps as long as it’s not extremely hot or cold . The backs are very sensitive to PSI changes but get shredded regardless, but I do feel better and go faster when using the correct one for the temps.
Tried a set of Dunlops, they were awful to mount at home due to the stiffer construction, and I lost 3 seconds per lap with them . Won’t go back.

The Michelin EVO compound isnt very temperature sensitive. Will it be as fast as a proper Pirelli in the “butter zone?” No, but it is a jack of all trades tire. Works well in all temps and environments.
Michelin did just release a new race tire called the Performance which is supposed to be more sensitive but significantly faster.
